Game Developer · Narrative Designer · Worldbuilder
👾 Who I Am
I’m Shailesh Singh Bisht, a developer and writer dedicated to creating immersive game experiences. I focus on the intersection of mechanics and storytelling — a puzzle that reveals lore, a UI that communicates tone, or an environment that evokes emotion.
With a background in Computer Science, I build across both 2D and 3D spaces, blending efficient coding with emotionally-driven design. My projects aim for gameplay and narrative to reinforce each other, from micro-level mechanics like jump timing to macro-level world building.
🎮 Game Development
I create systems that are both functional and expressive — fast, clean, and tuned for feel. Currently, I’m focused on Godot 4 development in 2D and 3D, leveraging prior experience in C++ to build robust gameplay systems.
- Godot 4: Developing 2D projects and expanding into 3D
- Custom input systems, interaction loops, and scene logic
- Level design and environment creation with optimized workflows
- C++ foundations with GDScript for rapid prototyping
- Blender for blockouts, props, and visual storytelling (improved skills!)
✍️ Narrative Design
I focus on worldbuilding, character development, and player-driven narratives. My goal is to design systems where player choices meaningfully shape the story, creating engaging and immersive experiences.
- Branching stories with state-driven logic
- Dynamic quest scripting based on player behavior
- Worldbuilding through interactive dialogues and events
- Attention to emotional tone and subtle narrative cues
🛠️ Tech Stack
These are the tools and languages I use to bring gameplay and narrative together.
- Languages: GDScript, C++, Python
- Engines: Godot 4 (2D & 3D), Creation Kit
- Tools: Git, Blender (improving workflow for props & visuals)
- Modding & World Tools: Creation Kit (Skyrim/Fallout)
- Focus Areas: Player-first design, narrative systems, emotional impact
